just for birthdays.....
We don't have a physical store where customers can hang out with their dogs, and there's no dog park in the town where we're located. But we're in Louisiana, where people look for any opportunity to have a party. Partying with our dogs is just icing on the cake.
So, of course, we wonder why anyone
would wait a year 'til their dog's next birthday to party again. Why not celebrate New Year's, Valentine's Day, Mardi
Gras, Easter, Spring, 4th of July, Summer, Labor Day, Trick or
Treat, Thanksgiving, Christmas, the weekend or.... well, you get the
idea. It doesn't have to be extravagant, just you, your pack and a few human and canine friends you enjoy---no need for all the trappings of your yearly Birthday Blow-Out. When the weather's nice, a cookout may offer easiest clean up options, with potluck dishes letting everyone share the people-food preparations, whether indoors or out.
Dogs just gotta have fun, and limiting
get togethers to dogs who know each other can make settings more
relaxed. Maybe introduce an unfamiliar dog or two at each
party. It can be a way of socializing puppies or
recently-adopted adult dogs, unless abuse has left a rescue-dog too
sensitive for that much stimulation.
We make
puppy party
all-natural dog cake mix for an easy and delicious cake. Believe us when we say, it's a
special treat to have your dog firmly planted in your kitchen,
attracted by the fragrance of a cake in the oven. We used puppy party in 6" round pans to make the 2-layer Mardi Gras cake in the left column, added frosting from recipes on the cake mix package, then topped it with souvenir beads and throws. Of course, inedible decorations always have to be moved safely out of dog-reach before serving.
