dog treats

dog birthday cakes.....
We had sold all-natural dog treats at markets, grooming centers and
veterinary clinics around here for several years, when a big-name dog
bakery opened in town. Thinking we might advance the cause of
fresh-baked products through an alliance of some sort, we approached the
shop owner. She wasn't interested.
After the shop closed almost a-year-and-a-half later, her former
customers started asking us for dog birthday cakes, apparently her
specialty. We didn't make cakes at the time, but soon developed
puppy party
all-natural dog cake mix
in response to requests.

the last to know.....
One day we came out of the kitchen long enough to learn that people
everywhere were celebrating their dogs' birthdays. Who knew?
We're an independent company in a tiny corner of the world, plus we had
our heads down, baking all the time. We thought of every day as a
party for our dogs, who ate as many fresh-baked cookies as we'd give
them, though not nearly as many as they begged.
But it's really only natural to throw a party, complete with cake, to
celebrate the birthday or adoption of a sweet pup who's our best friend
and family. It always feels good to show our loved ones how much
we care, and partying with dogs is a whole lot of fun.
